SECOND SKIN WOOL

SECOND SKIN WOOL

This stripe-patterned material is made by a weaver in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture, using Australian merino wool yarns that stretch well in both the warp and weft (original), and woven slowly at low speed.

The warp and weft are both shrunk to about half their original length during the finishing process, giving this ATON original material a beautiful leather-like sway and stretch that is not possible with woven fabrics.
