絹紡糸よりも繊維長の短い、まるで超長綿のような細番手のシルクを使用し、山形県米沢市でゆっくり丁寧に織られたタフタ素材です。シルク特有の独特の光沢感と優しい風合いを残しながらも、綿のような膨らみと雑味ある表情も併せ持った素材です。

This taffeta material is woven slowly and carefully in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, using a fine silk that is shorter in fiber length than spun silk and is like extra-long cotton. This material retains the unique luster and gentle texture of silk, but also has a bulky, cotton-like appearance.
