WOOL WASHI | CREWNECK SWEATER
A crew-neck sweater with a moderately relaxed feel. The ribbed hem is not too tight, allowing it to be worn roughly like a T-shirt. Washable in cold water and good moisture absorbency, this is a garment that can be worn in three seasons except midwinter.
Washi has been actively produced in Japan since the Nara period (710-794), mainly in Toyama. Washi has a special porous structure and has better moisture absorption, quick-drying, deodorizing, UV effects, etc. than hemp. Soft and elastic washi yarns manufactured by a special process are used, and twisted in a traditional spinning method that maximizes the natural fullness of wool. By twisting with high-twisted wool yarns, this is ATON's original material that has both bulkiness and dry touch.
