SHRINK FRESCA JERSEY | GATHERED SKIRT
This maxi-length skirt is characterized by its generous gathers. The beautiful texture of the crinkled cotton creates a finish unique to ATON. To minimize unevenness, the skirt is designed without any stitching or seams; instead, the gathers are carefully calculated to fall evenly using only bar tacks. The waist features an elastic band and a drawstring for an adjustable, relaxed fit.
This jersey fabric is made from high-twist yarn spun from hand-picked extra-long staple cotton from India, knitted in Wakayama City, and finished with a chirimen treatment. The chirimen finish is an ATON original technique that replicates the textured, raised surface typically found in woven fabrics using jersey knit, resulting in a fabric characterized by exceptional lightness, a refreshing feel, and superior comfort.
