Based on the overpants of the U.S. Army, these pants have been cut around the hips. The silhouette has been updated to a moderately straight silhouette. By tightening the spindles at the hem, you can enjoy a different silhouette. The blend of silk and linen has excellent moisture absorption and desorption properties. It matches the humid Japanese climate and can be worn comfortably in all three seasons except midwinter.

This twill fabric is woven in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan's northernmost textile production center, and is a cross weave of silk and linen. The warp is made of thick count "silk spun yarn" and the weft is made of yarn dyed linen, woven in 3/1 twill. The reverse side has the smooth feel and moderate firmness of linen.
