The nylon taffeta is densely woven in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture, and dyed in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City, using sumi-zome, a dyeing process that produces a deep gray color that looks like an ink painting. The moderate luster and firmness of the nylon taffeta is comfortable, and is an ATON original material.
