COTTON HEMP SATIN | HARRINGTON JACKET
Based on an old Harrington jacket, this jacket has been updated so that it can be worn until before midsummer. The jacket is unlined to take advantage of the lightweight feel of cotton hemp fabric.
This twill material is interwoven in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, using American extra-long staple cotton for the warp and HEMP for the weft. The cotton yarns have a softness and fall due to the extra-long cotton and a dry touch, firmness and luster due to the hemp (Asiaticaceae) weft, making it a material with a shiny yet rough look that looks great for tailoring.
