This coat is based on the reefer jacket, the prototype of the pea coat. It is made of 60 g of thin recycled padding. The lining is made of windproof nylon material to create a three-dimensional silhouette while retaining warmth.

This taffeta material is woven by a weaver in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, using a material specially designed for cotton items. The warp threads are made of polyester and the weft threads are made of cotton, and a special finishing process is used to create this ATON original material, which has a rough look but a glossy sheen and the gentle texture of cotton. In addition, a special padding made of recycled wool cashmere is used.

Recycled wool cashmere
Recycled Wool Cashmere is a special cotton filling made from recycled wool and cashmere products in the Prato region of Italy. Disused garments are collected and scrapped, and foreign materials other than wool and cashmere (fasteners, buttons, etc.) are manually removed, and the raw materials and yarns are separated by color. The raw materials and yarns are then separated by color and mixed with polyester to create a wadding material that combines strength with the excellent warmth and lightness that only wool-cashmere can offer.
