SILK TWEED | SHIRT JACKET
This shirt jacket has a slightly loose-fitting silhouette with a relaxed feel. The body lining is lined with cotton and the sleeve lining with cupro, and the tailoring takes advantage of the softness of the material.
This silk check material is woven in Hashima City, Gifu Prefecture, from thick silk yarn spun in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. The original thick and bulky silk yarns are wound with thin silk yarns of different colors and arranged in a complex pattern, giving it the look and feel of wool tweed, while being extremely light and pleasant to the touch.
