The rare Souris, which account for only 10% of all alpaca, are used in abundance to create a luxurious knitted fabric with a longer fiber length and a lustrous feel than ordinary alpaca fabric. The yarn structure and delicate shrinking process give the fabric a long fur-like appearance.
