HAND KNIT | CARDIGAN
A striking knit piece hand-knitted with thick needles, rather than by machine. This is a simple, oversized cardigan with a front to back hem difference. The front placket is intentionally folded neatly without raising the stitches, creating a voluminous look that allows it to be worn with a coat-like feel. We recommend styling it to create a contrast in textures such as pairing it over a silk dress or with nylon bottoms.
We deliberately chose adult mohair with a lustrous sheen reminiscent of silk to create a knit that lacks the rustic feel often associated with hand-knits. This ATON original knit fabric is crafted by alternating between thick and thin needles to achieve a loose, lightweight, and textured appearance while ensuring the garment retains its shape.
