FIBRIL SILK TAFTA | WORK SHIRT
This loose-fit shirt features a relaxed body width and a silhouette with slightly dropped shoulders. While incorporating elements of vintage work shirts such as construction techniques and details throughout, we’ve reimagined them in a silk shirt. It has been pre-washed, so it’s machine washable.
This silk taffeta fabric is woven with raw silk for both the warp and weft threads, resulting in a slightly loose weave. Compared to standard taffeta, the weight is concentrated more in the warp threads, giving it a distinctive drape. A suede finish is applied during the final processing to create a natural fibrillated texture.
