DORO SILK | REVERSIBLE JACKET
A zip-up jacket based on a vintage sports jacket. Updated to be reversible. Features raglan sleeves and a relaxed silhouette. The outer side uses silk taffeta, while the inner side uses nylon taffeta, creating a completely different impression on each side.
The silk taffeta fabric is woven in Yunnan Province, China, and mud-dyed. Mud dyeing is a traditional Chinese dyeing technique developed over 500 years ago. It involves soaking the fabric in the roots of orchid plants, applying iron-rich mud, sun-drying, and finally repeating cycles of washing and sun-drying. This process creates a silk fabric characterized by its rich, shaded brown color, crisp texture, and lightness.

Due to the dyeing process, variations in color intensity and texture occur, allowing you to enjoy the unique character of each piece. This uneven dyeing creates a natural, richly textured design that is its defining feature.
