This knit fabric is created by plating Japanese paper yarn known for its supple texture and soft feel against the skin, made from abaca fiber with high flame retardant cotton yarn that has a dry, crisp feel. Japanese paper has a unique porous structure that provides functionality surpassing that of linen, including superior moisture absorption, quick drying properties, odor control, and UV protection. It is an original ATON fabric that combines a distinctive firmness and resilience not found in standard knit fabrics with a smooth, dry to the touch finish.
