WOOL WASHI | DRIVERS KNIT
This sweater features a voluminous stand-up collar characteristic of driver's knitwear and a slightly oversized silhouette. 10-gauge is used, and it has a firm, comfortable fit. The ribbed hem is not too tight, and it has pockets, so it can be used as outerwear in early spring. It also has excellent functionality, so it can be used in three seasons except midsummer.
This knit material is made of soft and elastic Japanese paper yarn, which is produced in Niigata Prefecture through a special spinning process, and wool yarn with high combustibility. Washi has a special porous structure, and is more functional than linen in terms of moisture absorption, quick-drying, deodorizing, and UV effects. It is ATON's original material with a unique firmness and smooth dry touch not found in ordinary knit fabrics.
