FIBRIL SILK TAFTA | CREW NECK DRESS
A maxi length dress featuring slightly dropped shoulders and a clean, straight silhouette. It has just the right amount of a washed-out look, giving it a casual, jersey like feel. The seams are left exposed on the outside so that the wash treatment creates a textured effect along the seam allowances. You can cinch the waist with the included matching tie to create a different look. Additionally, since the garment has been pre-washed, it is machine washable.
This silk taffeta fabric is woven with raw silk for both the warp and weft threads, resulting in a slightly loose weave. Compared to standard taffeta, the weight is concentrated more in the warp threads, giving it a distinctive drape. A suede finish is applied during the final processing to create a natural fibrillated texture.
